What is From the Moon?
Not Martians; they're from Mars. From the Moon is a project by me, "Lunar" Lyndon and other Lunatics who like to make music and images. As pioneers of the space folk genre, our songs and pictures depict tales of crazy old Earth for a future generation of lunar dwellers.

From the Moon with Tom Jackson. On Thursday this week, August 21st, we're playing a benefit concert for Sam's Place, a used bookstore / coffeehouse that's currently under construction on Henderson Hwy in Winnipeg. The show will feature Tom Jackson, a legend in the Froese household as I grew up; Dean Jenkinson, a comedian/musician whose name I know from CBC; and now From the Moon. We're one of three "emerging artists" who will play to represent the type of music that might typically be heard at Sam's Place. The set will be short, just three tunes. Tickets available at ticketmaster.ca for $42 plus fees.
